This
is the first Wednesday of 2015. It
is also the first full day of school in the new year. A lot of schools around O’Neill had a late start or no
school at all because of the extreme cold. However, the students in O’Neill all bundled up and got here
for a full day of classes.
In English we learned the basics of
DGP. This is program of daily
grammar practice. At the beginning
of each week we will be given a sentence.
Everyday after that we will do grammar activities with the same
sentence. It was a little confusing, but Mrs. Troester and Mrs. Babl are
confident that we will master the program.
Today in math we took notes on
percents and then worked on making decimals into percents and percents into
decimals. Everyone worked hard and
thought it was an easy assignment.
The teachers were pleased about how we asked good questions and worked
hard.
